Jim Guidry Jr.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Jim Guidry joined the Schumacher Group’s executive team as Chief Operating Officer in 2002. His healthcare leadership experience includes over twenty-two years of demonstrated success in the field of physician practice management, consulting, and healthcare business development and operations. He maintains extensive knowledge and experience from his work with and support of business professionals and clinicians in both hospital-based and community-based medical practices in association with Academic, For-Profit, and Not-For-Profit hospitals and health systems.
His leadership success is achieved through his effectiveness in the design and development of innovative operational and financial management systems and processes in support of high-performing patient care delivery teams. He possesses extensive experience in strategic planning, operating budget and revenue stream management, physician recruiting & retention, contract management, corporate compliance, human resources management, sales & marketing, managed care, medical billing systems and processes, and health care information technology.
Guidry maintains a focus and commitment to the enhancement and development of the company’s work-force, the establishment and growth of effective client service teams and practice management solutions and resources in service to the continued rapid growth and expansion of the company’s client base. He embodies a relationship-centered corporate culture of integrity, dignity, and respect for employees, clients and physician partners as he provides leadership to the TSG service delivery teams working in support of over 140 client hospitals and 1,500 physicians and mid-level practitioners nationwide. Mr. Guidry is also a graduate of Leadership Lafayette and a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International.
