FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Schumacher Group 'Opens Doors' at ACEP 2008
Chicago, IL - November 04, 2008 - True to the promise of ‘opening doors in Emergency Medicine,’ Schumacher Group opened not only hotel doors, but eyes and minds to exciting job opportunities across the country. In support of the Scientific Assembly, Schumacher Group’s sponsorship of hotel door key cards for all ACEP attendees was quite the buzz throughout the event.
Also a huge success was Schumacher Group’s Medical Leadership Academy (MLA) reception, themed ‘Opening New Doors in Leadership.’ Attendees met the faculty, mingled among Schumacher Group Medical Directors, learned more about the Academy and explored their leadership potential. The goal of the MLA is to grow inspired, motivated and mission oriented healthcare leaders.
Schumacher Group physicians, executives, nurses, recruiters and others gathered from across the country to participate in several events and promotions on occasion of ACEP’s 39th annual assembly and 40th anniversary. Presence was felt at some half dozen Oct. 27-30 functions in addition to prominent space at McCormick Place exhibit hall and educational sessions.
The event also gave stage to four Schumacher Group physician leaders honored by ACEP earlier this year. President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Randy Pilgrim was formally acknowledged as ACEP’s 2007 Rookie Speaker of the Year, while CEO Dr. William “Kip” Schumacher, Executive VP Medical Affairs Dr. Ricardo Martinez, and long-time Staff Physician Dr. Diane Fite were lauded as ACEP picks for “Emergency Medicine Heroes.”
