Southeast Regional Medical Officer Named

Atlanta, Georgia - July 16, 2009 - Schumacher Group is pleased to welcome a new Regional Medical Officer (RMO) to its ranks as an addition to the Southeast I Region and East Division of the company.

Announcement has been made by East Division President Ricardo Martinez, MD, that Sylvan M. Waller, MD, will be assuming the role of SE I RMO August 1. Waller replaces Martinez in that role following Martinez’ promotion to the Divisional role July 1.

A physician executive with an established record of patient-focused client service, financial management, operational efficiency and clinical excellence, Waller comes from a work background as an Emergency Medicine physician and healthcare consultant. He most recently led regional ED operations in the Northeast, maintaining medical licenses in Georgia, Ohio, Illinois and Virginia.

Waller is Emergency Medicine Board Certified. He obtained his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency program at Emory University School of Medicine.
