Medical Leadership Academy Hosts Reception at ACEP

Boston, MA - October 13, 2009 - Schumacher Group’s Medical Leadership Academy (MLA) hosted its second annual reception on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at ACEP’s annual Scientific Assembly in Boston, MA.

The event was an opportunity for residency program directors, current Schumacher Medical Directors and other healthcare leaders to learn about leadership opportunities with Schumacher Group and meet the MLA faculty. Adding excitement to the event was the grand prize giveaway drawing for Schumacher Group’s ongoing “Emergency Medicine - We Love It!” campaign. The winner, Dr. Theodore Redman from Richmond Hill, GA, walked away with a hefty $3,500 vacation voucher. Dr. Redman reported that he was thrilled to have won, and that he is considering a long-awaited trip to Europe with the winnings.

Also highlighted at the reception were Schumacher group Medical Director success stories. The goal of the MLA is to grow inspired, motivated and mission oriented healthcare leaders. Overall, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd eager to learn more about leadership opportunities and Schumacher Group’s MLA.
