Continuing Medical Education

Schumacher Group provides 48 hours free Continuing Medical Education (AMA Category 1) per year for our core physicians, in the form of a monthly clinical newsletter subscription. In addition, the Medical Directors have more opportunities to obtain CME credits by attending our annual medical director forums, and through our Medical Leadership Academy, which provides management, leadership, operations, and clinical education.

In addition to the clinical newsletter subscription and leadership training provided by Schumacher Group's Corporate office, the regional offices provide customized educational opportunities such as Core Measures, documentation, early medical screening and team building at the local level to assist our physicians and medical directors in their roles.

Schumacher Group also provides on-site physician and nurse education for our hospitals, to enhance quality care and patient satisfaction. These vary from improving turnaround times in the emergency department to customer service development and relationship management / interpersonal skills.
